BI DHB is a natural keto-sugar which is fermented from the aerobic bacterium Glucanobacter. It reacts with free amino groups of keratin in the corneum of the epidermis to achieve a dyeing effect, which is called the maillard reaction. It can achieve a tanning effect without sun exposure, protecting the delicate skin from UVs. It helps avoid streaking and drying effects caused by other tanning product, and perfectly compatible with DHA
