General Introduction
BI PEG is a liquid preservative composed of phenoxyethanol and ethylhexylglycerin. Ethylhexylglycerin can improve the antiseptic ability of phenoxyethanol by affecting the surface tension of microbial cell membrane. It has broad-spectrum inhibitory effect on bacteria, mold and yeast, and has certain bactericidal ability. It is very stable, not easy to hydrolyze, has a good tolerance to temperature and pH value. It has good solubility and can also be well dispersed in various systems at low temperature. It is widely used in cream, lotion, shampoo, shower gel and wipes.

How to use
- Typically used at a level of 0.5-1.0%,BI PEG can tolerate high salt content, but high content of surfactant may lead to reduced corrosion protection.
- According to EU 76 / 768 / EEC, the maximum usage of BI PEG in cosmetics (including rinse-off and leave-on type) is 1.1%.

- This product is packed as 20kg/drum
- It is required to be stored in room temperature, well-sealed and avoid dampness and strong light.
