General Introduction
BI Phenoxyethanol is an organic compound, synthesized by etherification of ethylene glycol and phenol. It is a colorless or slightly yellowish transparent oily liquid, dissolvable with water and polar organic solvents such as ethanol, 1-Propanol or 1,2-Propanediol, 50% glutaraldehyde and Protectol PP. With this property, it can be used to dissolve various raw materials and active ingredients such as 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol, methylparaben, 1,2- dibromo–2,4–dicyanobutane (DBDCB) and Iodopropynyl butylcarbamate (salt) (IPBC).
