General Introduction
BI PVP K30 is soluble in water and many organic solvents and it forms hard, transparent, glossy film. It is compatible with most inorganic salts and many resins. BI PVP K30 stabilizes emulsions, dispersions and suspensions. It is used as a film former in hair styling products, an emulsion stabilizer in creams and lotions and as a dispersant for hair colorants. It also a foam stabilizer and gelling agent in toothpastes.
