General Introduction
Bisil ES98 is a mixture of high molecular weight silicone elastomer and cyclopentasiloxane. It is clear to translucent gel, well dispersible in oil phase. When formulated into W/O emulsions, water-in-silicone oil, and O/W emulsions and anhydrous products, it provides dry smoothness and a light silky skin, non-greasy feel. skin, non-greasy feel. It can present a matte texture, relatively moist, silky and smooth after application, leaving the skin feeling fresh and refreshing after application.

How to use
- Non-aqueous cosmetics: 20-80%; Lotion, cream: 3-25%
- Disperse oil phase into Bisil ES98 by mixing, post-shearing not required. As cyclopentasiloxane has already been thickened and can provide a novel form of delivery for other formulation components, cold process can reach an ideal thickening effect.
- Can be added to the oil phase or silicone phase in an emulsion formulation.
- Can be post-added to emulsions providing enough viscosity to disperse the silicone elastomer.
- The blending of dimethicone and cyclomethicone can reduce the viscosity for easy use.
- Under agitation, it can be mixed with organic oils and silicon-based materials with use of mixers or high-shear devices such as homogenizers and sonolators
- It is dispersible in a variety of liquid oils such as Isopropyl myristate, Octyl palmitate, Isododecane, cyclomethicone, Dimethicone (5-30000 cst), and Phenyl Trimethicone.
- It can be heated for a short duration as it is stable. During heating process, the material should be processed in an enclosed vessel to prevent the cyclopentasiloxane from volatilizing.

- This product is packed as 17kg/drum, 20kg/drum
- It is required to be stored in room temperature, well-sealed and avoid dampness and strong light.
