CAT S18 is a cationic surfactant widely used in hair care products, particularly hair conditioners. It improves wet and dry combing of hair, and provides static control. It can reduce static upon hair under acid conditions without build-up.

How to use
- Typical usage at 1-10%;
- In personal care products it is necessary to add additional acid to ensure neutralization.
- Acid required to neutralize 1.0 g of CAT S18 (pH 3.5 – 4.5)
- In conditioner formula, add it into oil phase. Heat to 70-80℃. Add oil phase into water phase while mixing. Then mix by a homogenizer. When cooling at 40℃, add acid to adjust pH of this conditioner
- In shampoo formula, add it into surfactant system at 70-80℃, mix to dissolve thoroughly, use acid to adjust pH below 40℃.

- This product is packed as 5kg/25kg/bag;
- It is required to be stored in room temperature, well-sealed and avoid dampness and strong light.
